One small thing that has made a HUGE impact

RETURN THINGS TO ITS PLACE

This may sound lame but I cannot stress enough what a positive impact it has.

I have found that returning things to its home is a profound help in the morning when trying to run out the door.  You will no longer have a high stress level when looking for whatever it is because you'll have it when you need it.  Also, you'll save money because you won't have to run out for a replacement since you'll know just where it is. Simple, right??!!

When you get home IMMEDIATELY put your keys where it goes, whether it be in your purse, on a hook, or in a bowl.

At the end of the day corral all electronics (cell phones, Kindles, Ipads, etc.) and keep them all in one place (charging if necessary).

If you often leave the house without your cell phone, consider charging it INSIDE your purse or backpack.  This way you'll have it when you go.

Put your work or school ID back in your purse or backpack IMMEDIATELY when you come home or are done with it for the day.  Return it to the same pocket every single time.

These few changes have reduced my stress enormously.  When I fail to do them I am rewarded with scrambling to locate it.

Try it, let me know if it works for you.
